Play Framework Tutorial # 3 | Setup Dev Environment in Linux For IntelliJ IDEA IDE



Description

In Previous video you learned how to setup your development environment in eclipse IDE in windows for play framework and in this video you will learn to setup your development environment in IntelliJ IDEA IDE in Linux Operating System.

To install Java JDK

replace "jdk1.8.0_45" with your JDK folder name. and run these commands

sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/java java /opt/jdk1.8.0_45/bin/java 1
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/javac javac /opt/jdk1.8.0_45/bin/javac 1
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin.so mozilla-javaplugin.so /opt/jdk1.8.0_45/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so 1
sudo update-alternatives --set java /opt/jdk1.8.0_45/bin/java
sudo update-alternatives --set javac /opt/jdk1.8.0_45/bin/javac
sudo update-alternatives --set mozilla-javaplugin.so /opt/jdk1.8.0_45/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so
